COVID-19 SITUATION

 GUIDELINS                                     ATTEMPTS    

   -No events at all levels                            – Watering the Buddha Image at home

                -No return to home town                     – Requesting blessings from the elders in the

-No water and no wish for the elders           with being 1-2 meters apart

-No public gathering                             – Wearing a sanitary mask

                                                                                       – Asking for blessing from the elders via mobile phone

      For this year Songran festival, the Ministry of Culture has issued the  following practical guidelines:

         1.No events at all levels;

         2. No return to home town;

         3.No water and no wish for the elders;

         4.No mass gathering of any activities or travelling to risky areas of the outbreak of COVID-19;

5.To inherit Songkran traditions, perform as follows:          

        5.1 Watering the Buddha Image at home;

        5.2 Expressing gratitude and blessings to parents and adult relatives living in the same house

       shall show with respect and pay respect with being 1-2 meters apart  and strictly follow the recommendations of the Ministry of Public Health . However, every family member must wera a cloth mask or sanitary mask; and

      5.3   Those who are far away from home to show gratitude and make a wish to parents and adult relatives through mobile phone or online media.

      The said announcement of the Ministry of Culture is effective from now on until further notice. However, since April is a traditional Songkran festival , and although the Songkran holiday has been postponed and suspended at all levels. Everyone is required to follow the Notifications of the Ministry of Culture and the Ministry of Public Health strictly.
